  1. Conduct a preliminary investigation.

  2. If the child is missing and endangered, contact CHP’s ENTAC at (916) 843-4199. (Phone number is not for public release.)

  3. ENTAC will work with the investigating agency to activate an AMBER Alert, Endangered Missing Advisory, other missing persons alert, and/or offer investigative assistance and other resources.
